My name is Kara & I am the sole creative behind Yarn Hippie Crochet.

I first discovered the magical world of crochet in 2023 after dabbling in macrame and textile tufting. I am a second generation crochet hippie self-taught through hours of picking apart YouTube how-to videos. After finally accomplishing my first granny square, I was HOOKED. I quickly was crocheting every free moment I had.

I’ve carried my small business with me through school, careers, & across state lines. Crochet and Yarn Hippie will continue to be my favorite hobby and pastime and I’m hopeful to one day turn my sweet lil side hustle into something huge!
